JenniferD > January 13, 2009 The hubster and I. added - LOLOLOLOL to Irish! I hadn't even thought of that - and omigosh I am sooo not that tall. The hubster is 6ft 2 and I am a puny 4ft 11.5 (hey that half an inch matters at this height!). So maybe - this is my fantasy shot?
JenniferD > January 12, 2009 This was taken at a museum located in a city park of a neighboring town. I love stuff like this - fascinates me. Emily is back in school today. YIPPEE! She is feeling much better. We had a bit of a scare however. Ian was on his way home for lunch and heard over the ham radio that the police and fire depts were at the high school. He called the lead of our emergency volunteer organization, but he hadn't heard on the scanner what was going on. Said he would call us when he did. Then just a few minutes ago we got a call from the highschool (sent to all parents). Apparently a strange package was found in the parking lot and they called the police and fire depts as a precaution - they also would not release any students, change classes or allow any students to go down for lunch. Makes me feel good that they do not take ANY chances - but wow - how things change from when I was a kid.

JenniferD > January 8, 2009 Today was filled with loads and loads of laundry, some other housework and taking a sick Emily to the doctor and then pharmacy. She has a sinus infection. So my photo today was pulled from some Dallas Arboretum photos I took on December 6. I am really hoping to get some quality time with my camera soon.
JenniferD > January 7, 2009 Getting a very late start today. Woke up not feeling so great. The constant weather changes in Tx during the winter is NOT good for my sinus's. We went from having freezing rain on Monday to predictions for Friday being close to 80 degrees. I would MUCH rather have the 80 degree weather.... but the constant ups and down - killer for my head. This is one more ice photo. Thanks so much for all of the VERY kind comments on yesterdays frozen leaf. I also wish I would have gotten the icicle clinging to the end of the leaf in focus. Standing out in that cold rain wasn't something I liked and I rushed through the shots. Have a great day everyone and just think - a few more months and the dailies will be overflowing with flower images again. Gosh I can't wait. .... oh and Hillary - I am LOVING the new camera. :) Thanks so much for asking.
JenniferD > January 6, 2008 We had freezing rain most of the day yesterday. Luckily the ground was warm enough we didn't have too many issues on the roads - just a few slick bridges and overpasses. The trees were so pretty though - the ice did build up on them.

JenniferD > January 3, 2009 Update - I got an email back from Seamus with Smugmug. He was able to restore ALL of my 2008 daily photos WITH THE COMMENTS AND PHOTO RANKINGS! I am incredibly impressed and can not thank him enough. What a fantastic organization smugmug is. Thank you thank you thank you - from the bottom of my heart. :) ************************************************************************************** I am kicking myself big time today. I went to move all of my 2008 daily gallery (sorted by month) into one large gallery that covered the entire year. Well I thought I had them moved over and that I was deleted an empty gallery - turns out I deleted the gallery I had just moved everything into. So I lost all of my comments and photo rankings that I had worked so hard to get in the past few months. I was able to put all of the photos back up since I had all of them but I am really just heartbroken over losing all of your comments. They have meant so much to me. I emailed smugmug - to see if there was any way to get them back, but I would be so incredibly surprised. I have resigned myself to the results of my stupid mistake. Oh well.
JenniferD > January 2, 2008 Had to pull this one out of the archives. We were so busy yesterday undecorating the house I didn't even pick up my camera other than to move it out of the way. Not sure if I will have much time with it today either. We have to take 2 of our 3 cars in for servicing as well as run a few other errands. Hope everyone had a great day yesterday.

I am kicking myself big time today. I went to move all of my 2008 daily gallery (sorted by month) into one large gallery that covered the entire year. Well I thought I had them moved over and that I was deleted an empty gallery - turns out I deleted the gallery I had just moved everything into. So I lost all of my comments and photo rankings that I had worked so hard to get in the past few months.

I was able to put all of the photos back up since I had all of them but I am really just heartbroken over losing all of your comments. They have meant so much to me.

I emailed smugmug - to see if there was any way to get them back, but I would be so incredibly surprised. I have resigned myself to the results of my stupid mistake.

Oh well.
