    JenniferD > February 25, 2009 I can't remember what the name of this bush is - but it is back by our pool equipment. This is the first year for it to fully bloom and I think the flowers are so delicate and pretty.

    JenniferD > October 15, 2009 Still no sun here and no signs of it coming anytime soon. Yesterday greeted us with a dense fog advisory. After running kids yesterday morning, I went down to one of the popular fishing/kayaking areas by the lake. I shot over 250 frames but have only had the chance to process this one so far. The lake used to be an old cotton field that was flooded and made into a reservoir. The trees you see are actually IN the lake - long dead. I thought they looked so cool shrouded in the fog.
    JenniferD > October 26, 2009 - Autumn in North Central Texas. I really miss the amazing fall color I saw each year growing up in the mid-west. I do not however miss the horrid cold and snow that followed it. This beautiful late afternoon was followed by severe thunderstorms as a cold front came through. I knew we were going to get some bad weather early yesterday morning - a migraine started due to the weather. Thank God for Imitrex. Ian and I sat watching the radar most of the night. Several of the storms had the potential of hail up to 2 inches and a few showed on radar as having enhanced rotation. As the storms neared us in northeastern Dallas county they weakened and we didn't need to head out to spot. Dallas county activated storm spotters but we usually only go if the city (or actually the head of our group) activates us.
